About 1891

1891 is a non-profit organization committed to honoring the legacy of ancestors, strengthening community assets, and fostering sustainable prosperity.  The organization operates a discovery center for research of family and community heritage.  With the assistance of state-of-the-art technology, local historians, and research associates, any visitor can explore and document family heritage and community or cultural history.  

Each person, family, or business has a story.  To honor those who helped paved the way for the current and future legacies, 1891 offers memorabilia such as bricks and silver-plated leaves for purchase.  Twenty percent (20%) of the purchase goes to programs which foster generational wealth. 

1891 also hosts professional and business development programs through vanguard educational opportunities, internships, and mentoring experiences, enabling self-determination and generational wealth.
